Aspiring artist Keith Nelson (Eric Stoltz) has managed to land himself a date with popular girl Amanda Jones (Lea Thompson), but she may be using Keith as a way of getting back at her insensitive rich-kid boyfriend Hardy Jenns (Craig Sheffer).
